A 19-year-old man who was caught on video assaulting his elderly grandmother has been arrested and is expected to appear in Blue Downs Magistrate’s Court in Cape Town on Friday.
The video, which went viral on social media and was widely condemned, shows the woman being beaten following a verbal altercation at her home in Wallacedene in Kraaifontein.
