The Durban Magistrate’s Court has denied bail for the men accused of killing rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend, chef and entrepreneur Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
AKA and Tibz were shot dead outside the now-defunct Wish on Florida restaurant in Durban, in February 2023.
Lindokuhle Thabani Mkhwanazi, 30; Lindani Ndimande, 35; Siyanda Myeza, 21; Mziwethemba Gwabeni, 36; and Lindokuhle Ndimande, 29, appeared before Magistrate Vincent Hlatshwayo on Wednesday.Hlatshwayo said the State had produced evidence which pointed to the fact that releasing the accused on bail would be reckless and irresponsible.

The court has yet to determine an adjournment date.
