MASKANDA Bahubhe has revealed that he will no longer present his albums outside the Workshop shopping mall in the center of Durban following his “evict” by its management due to the crowding.

On Saturday, the singer made headlines for the launch of his new album I will get them.

There was not enough space to step because of the large number of people who came out to see the singer and others who had invited them.

Among those who came to support him were Jumbo, who featured in the album, Zakwe, Ntencane, Saliwa, Ndoni, Lungelo Hlongwane, Gadla Nxumalo, Musa Mseleku, Ithwasa Lekansela and others.

Bhubhe told It is a country that the Workshop is where he was born musically.

“My navel is here at the Workshop. I am a man who never forgot where he came from, so when I leave those people, who do I go to? How do they know the people I am going to see? That is why it was so crowded. The people at the Workshop would be grateful that I did not meet them, even if it is on another level,” said Bahubhe.

He said that what he wanted and what happened was that he wanted the Workshop to be fired and not be the one who went on his own because he thought he was better.

“I am happy that I did the event until the managers came back and said that the place is no longer suitable for me. They are going to try the same place because nothing happens there when I am there. You will not see me present the album at the Workshop again because the managers fired me yesterday, (he said on Saturday) and said that it will be their job to find me the right place because it was not me who fired them at the Workshop,” said Bahubhe who said the event was more than successful.

The album he was presenting has 17 songs. It was expected to be released on Saturday morning in online music stores but it happened.

“The fault is not mine because I did it. You can see the delay. My thing is that I asked my brothers to be patient because it could appear at any time. I am also worried because people are fighting, they know that if they don’t get something, the problem is you and I love my fans very much, I will not let them down.”

He revealed that he has many messages in this album, but most of the time he likes to play for himself.

“There is a song out there that says: “Jehovah, I will eat Heaven for you, I will take it as mine.” You see, that thing is a game that you can hear on the left, but well, the purpose of my song is to convey the sadness that God took away the people we need so much, how did it happen? In the end, I say that I always play because no one should take this thing and put it on him because there are people who worship God and I worship him, but if the song is going to be released, it must speak.”

He concluded by revealing that he plans to hold an event near Jolivet, which will be a music festival.

“I shouldn’t be loved so much by the people around us without doing them good.”
