Danny
Jordaan dismissed suggestions of using Bloemfontein as a permanent home for
Bafana Bafana.

But the
president of the SA Football Association vowed the team would return to the
City of Roses, possibly, in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers
after being warmly embraced there in June.

Bafana
thumped Zimbabwe 3-1 at Toyota Stadium on 11 June to boost their chances of
qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, playing in front of their best home
support since hosting the 2013 Afcon.
