Auction house Guernsey’s had previously advertised the sale of Nelson Mandela’s identity book and several other personal items for 22 February.
An auction of more than 100 of former president Nelson Mandela’s personal items has been suspended.
The auction, which was scheduled for 22 February, was to include the sale of the late statesman’s ID book and several other personal items.
Auction house Guernsey’s simply said: “This auction has been suspended” on its website, without listing a reason.
