At least 500 people were displaced after a fire ripped through Site 5 in Dunoon, Cape Town, on Monday.
The blaze damaged 120 structures.
The spokesperson for the Western Cape’s Disaster Risk Management Centre, Charlotte Powell, said an emergency call was received at 16:40 about structures ablaze just off Potsdam Road.
