The man who publicly wept following the murder of his “long-term partner” Nadine Terblanche, 32, and her son, Ruandré Vorster, 9, has made his first court appearance in connection with their killings.
Freddie Stapelberg, 34, appeared briefly in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on Monday, facing two counts of premeditated murder.
Stapelberg appeared under strict rules ordered by the magistrate, who refused to be identified or photographed, along with the defence lawyer and the prosecutor.
