VEHICLE: HAVAL H6 PHEV

The HAVAL H6 is one of GWM’s most important vehicles, accounting for nearly 50% of their global sales.

This SUV favorite is built in different countries for distribution in more than 170 countries.

At GWM, they have decided to continue doing well by expanding the family with this plug-in hybrid (PHEV).

At a time when there are still problems with electric vehicles only due to the lack of charging stations and the fear of running out of power on the way they drive, as well as the dramatic increase in gasoline that is said to happen, the H6 PHEV seems to have arrived at the right time.

It has a 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine and two electric motors which all put power to all the wheels.

This technology was called the GWM Hi-4 drivetrain.

268kW of power and 760Nm of torque. The two-wheel drive has a power of 240kW and a torque of 540Nm.

A gearbox is an automatic transmission.

At GWM they say that if you charge it to full and the frog floats in the petrol tank, you can travel more than 1,000 kilometers.

On electricity alone it travels 106km. Its battery is 19.09kWh, and it takes about three hours to fully charge it with a 7kW AC charger.

I liked the way it moves because even though it is strong, it raises them well, and when you step on it, it doesn’t jump like the others.

Another thing I liked is the change they made in the touchscreen infotainment system as they installed the Coffee Operating System. They say it will follow their other cars.

It stands out well and is easy to use because most things are clear, even the place where the rider can turn the volume up and down. Connects mobile via Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and more.

The H6 PHEV arrived just after the updated H6 arrived, which made GWM see the need to change the way it looks.

It’s based on the Ultra Luxury so they’ve gone for it and it’s huge. LED lights, 19-inch rims, panoramic sunroof, heated or cooled front seats, 550 liter boot and plenty of safety features are included.

It came with its own H7 Black Edition.

You will recall that recently the exterior tuned Jolion Pro Limited Edition was launched.

The H7 Black Edition has also been tuned but everything else is left the same.

It has a black front grille, unique rims, black roof rails, black mirror covers, black tail lights and windows.

In white, the changes are clearly visible.

Under the bonnet the engines are still the same, there is a 2.0 petrol turbo with a power of 170kW and a torque of 380Nm. The other is a 1.5 liter turbo petrol combined with an electric hybrid. It has 179kW of power and 530Nm of torque.
