After nearly three years of investigation into the theft of R103 million from an Absa bank account, allegedly stolen by the bank’s IT specialist, Xolela Masebeni, the case is now ready for trial.

On Thursday, the accused heard from prosecutor advocate Sharon Masedi that investigations were completed and the trial would be heard in the High Court.

Accused Thembinkosi Majikela appeared unrepresented after his lawyer withdrew his services.
