Community leaders and army chiefs are expected at the service in Kupholeni village, near Mehlwenkosi Primary school, Swayimani, Pietermaritzburg on May 10 from 9 am.

The organizer of this service, Reverend Muhle Mzokhona Zondi, said that the main purpose is to introduce myself to the brothers as he has been appointed as the head of the young men. Zondi, who is the President of the Christian Zion Church in South Africa, said that he will be informing the brothers that he is going to look at the gospel and youth.

“I want the believers not to be shocked when they hear that I am traveling with young men. On this day, I will make it clear that I will be traveling with the troops.”

Zondi said that in this service, brothers from his service and those from other churches are expected. Among the leaders who said they will attend the service are Municipal Mayor Mr. Mandla Zondi, Ward 11 councilor Mr. Mthokozisi Mbhele, youth coordinators Mr. Sifafa Nyoka, Mr. Musa Luthuli and Mr. Jefrey Mthembu, chiefs Mr. Gendezi Shangase, Mr. Mndeni Gwala and Mr. Njeza Ngcobo and Speaker of the Mgungundlovu Council and Secretary of the ANC Women’s League KwaZulu-Natal Mrs. Nonhlanhla Gabela.

“We will also pray for the end of road accidents because they are taking many lives these days. Since the President of the country has announced the date of the Local Government Elections on November 4, we will also place it in the Creator so that a spirit of peace and tranquility will blow in the areas of the Mshwathi Municipality,” concluded Zondi.
