Yesterday, a woman from Panikeni, Mariannhill, JUST broke Nandi’s house, after finding out that the Pinetown District Court had released a man accused of being involved in the disappearance of her daughter and granddaughter.

With the discovery ofOf this countrytwo cases were filed against the suspect, Mrs. Nzenzephi Phewa (69), separately. Among them is the loss of Ms. Nobukhosi Zulu (34), then the loss of her 18-month-old child. Ms. Zulu’s missing person is being handled by the Mariannhill police, while her missing person is being handled by the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses (FCS) unit in Chatsworth.

It turned out that the dockets of the cases were opened against Mastand and the so-called witch-doctor were independent and the one who was arrested was the one who was arrested for finding a missing child.

It turns out that the State has explained to Ms. Zulu’s mother, Ms. Ngcobo outside the court that the case that kept her inside was the loss of the child.

It appears that the State Prosecutor said that there was a misunderstanding in the communication between the two investigators who were investigating the two booths separately, he said that in the case concerning the child’s dumping, there is no concrete evidence as the suspect revealed that the child was caught by Ms. Zulu.

He is said to deny that he has anything to do with Ms. Zulu, who has been missing for over a year. The State explained to the family that according to the functioning of the courts, it is difficult for the suspect to continue to be imprisoned for the case of Ms. Zulu’s disappearance when there is no concrete evidence that he is involved. It is said that the investigator of the case still needs to find other evidence that is more relevant to the allegations that the suspect was seen walking with Ms. Zulu and the child, especially because the witness who revealed that information made it clear that he asked not to be revealed because the suspect is dangerous, he is afraid of him.

Hearing this, Ms. Ngcobo suddenly couldn’t hold back her tears and burst into tears.

“If the court lets him go, does that mean he won’t kill my grandson? Because if he is out there, he will have complete freedom to do anything, he can even go back to those who are said to be working with him, and finish what he started. They can’t let him go without my child being found yet,” lamented Ms. Ngcobo.

The State is pleading with Ms. Ngcobo to understand the way the court works, explaining to her that tangible evidence is needed for the family to get justice that will satisfy them, saying that if it is pushed that he be arrested without the collection of conclusive evidence, there are many chances that he will escape again or receive a sentence that will not please the family.

At the time of the incident, it is said that Ms. Phewa, who rents in Sunshine, Mariannhill, was seen walking out with Ms. Zulu and the child, carrying bags on June 15, last year. It is said that after that no one heard from Ms. Zulu again. The family began to suspect that something was wrong when they received a call from the child’s father, asking if they were in Panikeni, as he had not heard from them for days.

It is said that the child’s father gave the woman’s rent, went to ask, and that’s when the renters told him that they could see him, he was traveling with a stand as well as the child. It is said that the tenants are advised not to wait for the end of the month as the tenant usually collects the rent. It is said that the family asked for his number, and when he was called, he denied that he knew where they were.

It turns out that’s where the police were informed. It is said that not long after, information came out that he was seen coming to Ndwedwe with a small child, and when asked, he said it was his daughter’s. This information was followed by the police since her daughter did not have a small child. It is said that he was finally found with Ms. Zulu’s child, and they were crying for him.

Even now Ms. Zulu or her body has not been found. Ms Ngcobo was left with three young children, who narrated It is a country last month with the difficulty of raising himself without a job, no pension and no child support from the government.
