THEY CHALLENGED the leaders of African countries to smell their armpits as to why their people are flocking to this country and not to other countries as they accuse the people of this country of having hatred towards foreigners.

These leaders were ordered to collect their people who are in this country illegally as all countries are ruled by law.

This call was made by the Minister of Arts, Culture and Sports, Mr. Gayton McKenzie yesterday on the occasion of Africa Day. The message that was burning in these celebrations that spread to other states, is that people from other countries who are in the country illegally should leave.

McKenzie said that there is no lawless country and said that the people of this country do not hate foreigners.

“We want people from other countries to enter this country legally. Those who have gone without documents to be in this country. In other countries there are laws, why are we criticized and said that we hate foreigners if we want them to follow the laws of the country? We want them to be in this country legally,” he said while speaking in North West.

He lamented that there are many people in this country who are unemployed, who cannot get health care and schools while immigrants are able to get all these things.

“In other countries, I stand in line, I take out my passport to enter legally. In other countries, you need to have a visa, and we want people to be in this country in the right way. I don’t care if I am accused of not wanting immigrants, I say that those who were in this country legally should leave.”

He said the truth must be told if there is to be unity in Africa.

The Prime Minister of KwaZulu-Natal, Mr. Thami Ntuli, said that there is a campaign that has been started in the province to bring back people who are in the country illegally.

He said they were going in and out of different factories with the police, looking for people in the country illegally.

“He who does not enter through the gate breaks through, this is the campaign we have started to fight the problem of people in this country illegally. We do not harbor people from other countries who are in this country illegally,” said Ntuli speaking to the media as this day was celebrated with a march in Durban.

He dismissed the claim that there is hatred against immigrants and said that they have no problem with those who are in this country legally. It is intensifying to expel people who are in this country illegally as there are marches in different cities to express the anger of the people who are in this country illegally.
