There has been an uproar in the Nyawo tribe, in Ngwavuma after news emerged that the son who is at odds with his father over the throne will be officially installed as king in a big ceremony to be held on Sunday.

It will be remembered that It is a country in the past, it has reported extensively on this matter where it revealed that things are not right in this nation as the current King, Zithulele Gagashe Nyawo (33) and his younger father, Mr. Solomuzi Nyawo (53), are facing each other.

According to the family member, Ms. Gugu Nyawo, the conflict over the Nyawo throne started in 1993, when King Mbabane Nyawo who had 14 wives abdicated.

Mrs. Nyawo revealed that King Mbabane had many sons, but Diliza and Vini, who are both dead, were the ones who seemed to claim the throne.

After King Mbabane bowed, Ms. Nyawo says that Mvini entered the throne, and that’s when she says that the clash of cups started.

He said Mvini should not have entered the throne because he was born to Ma Mkhize who was the second wife (forget) of King Mbabane.

On the other hand, he said that Diliza was born to Ma Kwesaba (Iqadi) who was the third wife of King Mbabane and who was betrayed by the tribe which made him the one who gave birth to the king as well as Diliza.

He said that Mvini took over the throne until he abdicated in 2023, then his son, Gagashe, who is currently on the throne, entered.

He said that Solomozi who is Diliza’s brother (the one who was supposed to enter after King Mbane’s bowing) makes Solomuzi the one who should be on the throne because Dilliza got his two sons from a girlfriend because of that he said he would not be able to sit on the throne.

What is causing a big conflict now is that on Sunday the son will be installed as the king, which the other side is banging on about saying that nothing will happen in Luthela.

It is a country spoke to another member of the family who opposes this event on Sunday who said: “That will not happen. Here are the eyes, we will see. After all, we cannot be silent and fold our hands while things continue to deteriorate,” he said.

The member said that according to his knowledge, if the king is installed legally and will enter the barn, he must enter all the Nyawo houses.

“This is the one who will enter the barn when the Nyawo houses are not complete. How will he do it? Who knows,” she asked.

It said that it will be caught dead because this matter is going to court where it will end, there is no other way for them.

“Brother, I’m just talking to you, we’re in court in Pietermaritzburg and we’ve come up with this very issue.”

Previously It is a country she spoke to the king who was in the seat and said that this issue is very serious and it affects the family and asked him to come back to the reporter, which in the end he did not do.

On the other hand, Solomuzi made a point of saying that he is the king who should be on the throne.

He swore and asserted that he will fight for what is his until it reaches the stage where he gets it.

It is a country has seen the letter written by the party opposing the event on Sunday and is writing to the Department of Cooperative Governance and Indigenous Affairs in KwaZulu-Natal.

Among the points set is the forcing of the chiefs to bring out a cow to support the event.

Second, he asks who will bring the king into the fold if his fathers are not there. It goes on to ask how the person to be placed received the letter of placement when the family never agreed on his name.

The spokesperson for the Department of Cooperative Governance and Indigenous Affairs in KwaZulu-Natal, Mr Senzelwe Mzila said: ”The official king is Zithulele. The ministry is planning for the king to pour water on the palace in Mashobeni. Mr. Solomuzi tried in the beginning to challenge the king but failed. He is still doing the wrong thing to the king.”
