DJ Boonu built his reputation as a DJ for Big NUZ before going independent. He died not only as a DJ but also in business. He slept and didn’t wake up last night. All the speakers who shared the platform, proved each other to be a strategist as well as helpful.
His Arab friend said he was younger than him but older in actions.
“He was a man of the people, who knew how to get in where he couldn’t get in,” said Arab.
He said that whenever they had a problem, they called Boonu. He revealed that last month, Boonu was admitted to the hospital but he told them that he was unwell, he was going to be examined, but the doctor chose to put him to bed to examine him.
He said Boonu was watching Black Coffee a lot, and he was lucky enough to spend time with him last Monday.
Another friend, Mthunzi Buthelezi, when he thought about it, said he could not find a reason why God took Boonu.
“That’s why I say God I don’t know how you think.”
