DBN Gogo, a young woman from Durban, has revealed that she is regaining hope with her recently released song, The Boy Is Mine.

In this song that Moonchild sang, he said that he wants women to be confident in everything they want in life.

“I chose Moonchild because she is one of those women who, when they sing the lyrics of songs they are not, express their feelings and how they feel at that moment. She is someone who is always happy and working with her brought another feeling when we were together. It was easy to put together a song of this type. So it was a big thing for me to work with her.”

He said this song highlights the different feelings of a woman being confident.

“We hope that its message will reach far even though we are using a song,” said DBN Gogo.

He said he has no doubt that people will enjoy this song, and be happy about it in different places.

“In it there is the happiness of a woman who is confident but also shows her side, these things don’t go well which is normal in life. But its rhythm is the best, which I hope people will enjoy,” she explained.

Moonchild walked in the words ofDBN Gogo, said the song talks about knowing your place, being proud of yourself and not letting people play you when you are in a relationship of love, friendship and unity.

“I like the way we don’t hide our feelings in this song, we express everything we want in the lyrics. We talk about confidence, the different feelings we have in the situations we face in the relationships we see, so I was happy to be a part of it,” she said.
