At least six people died on Monday when a building at Amethyst Business Park in Ormonde, in the south of Johannesburg, collapsed.
Rhulani Mgwambane, spokesperson for the Department of Public Safety in Johannesburg, confirmed to Maroela Media that two people are still trapped and rescue teams are urgently working to get them out from under the rubble.
“Three persons are still missing and search and rescue operations are currently continuing to locate them.”
The cause of the collapse is not yet known.
