Reports by the Office of the Health Ombud (OHO) and the Office of Health Standards Compliance (OHSC) have found claims that Nicholas van Burick’s body lay neglected for hours after his death at Johannesburg’s Helen Joseph Tertiary Hospital were “unsubstantiated”.
