The Portfolio Committee on Justice and Constitutional Development called on the public for nominations for Deputy Public Protector, which became vacant last year when Kholeka Gcaleka was appointed as Public Protector. This followed the removal of Busisiwe Mkhwebane, who became the first Chapter 9 head to be impeached.
