A heatwave is expected to hit the Eastern Cape, but it will be fine and cool to warm for most of the country, according to the South African Weather Service.
Impact-based warnings
A Yellow Level 4 warning for damaging waves leading to the disruption of beachfront activities between Port Edward and Richards Bay in the morning has been issued.
Fire danger warnings
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the central and northern parts of the Northern Cape, as well as the Dr Beyers Naude, Inxuba Yethemba, and Enoch Mgijima municipalities in the Eastern Cape.

A heatwave with persistently high temperatures is forecast for the Alfred Nzo District Municipality in the Eastern Cape and is expected to persist until Sunday.

KwaZulu-Natal can expect partly cloudy conditions in the morning, otherwise it will be fine and warm.
A wind northerly wind along the coast will be fresh to strong in the north, otherwise a light to moderate northerly to north-easterly wind is expected.
