Rise Mzansi has announced that it has signed the government of national unity’s (GNU) statement of intent, effectively making it the latest party to sit around the new government’s table.
This comes as the GNU’s statement of intent, first signed by ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula and DA figurehead Helen Zille, is at the centre of attention amid questions on the power dynamics and the two parties’ different understanding of what they signed up for.
